Clemens didnt have his A game for sure....

Curt Shilling mentioned that Clemens was out all night before the All-Star game to give some publicity to Houston and the big Game.

Roger Clemens ended up embarassing himself and his homestate.....The guy is an amzing pitcher and there is no excuse giving up 6 runs in an inning....not to mention the other team hit the cycle in the first inning alone.

O'well would have been nice to have a home field birth come to the National League...but what can you do.

I highly doubt that is true, but if it is it would have to be the funniest thing.

well since everyone in the AL knows clemons stuff, im sure they know how to hit him. this is the first time hes in the NL, no one has seen him before, expect for interleague play, thats why he kicking ass right now!

It sure was a dismal performance. It seems that after his great run of games won, that he is slowing down towards the second half. Maybe he just can't keep up the pace all year anymore. Perhaps hanging it up at the end of the year will be the smartest move.
