gade Posted July 15, 2004 Share Posted July 15, 2004 I've been having a problem for a while now, and all my efforts of trying to get rid of it have failed Almost every 30-60 minutes a windows pops up saying "Already running!!!" The file that is running is named "System_280.dat" (looked in the Task Manager) This is what i've tried: 1. Ran Ad-Aware, Spybot, TuneUp Utilities 2004, Systemworks 2004 and Registry Mechanic with no luck 2. I've searched and deleted two files which always comes back 1. "C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\SYSTEM_280.DAT-240ED8E1.pf" 2. "C:\WINDOWS\system32\system_280.dat" 3.
