you shouldn't need anything to run it that the official builds don't need to run.

if you can't get it to run, then you don't have an SSE2 compliant processor.

bangbang023, is it possible to build FF 1.0.1 when its released? I prefer stability at work, as stable as the trunk builds are (I do use your regular trunk builds at home), I'm still using your 20041110 build :) I'd prefer keep using the avary-stable branch at work, well until trunk stabilises a lot more.

1.1 will be off a new branch. I will most likely stick to my old ways, unlike the aviary times, and build from the trunk even after the branch is created. Also, 1.1 (not sure why you call it 1.0.1) will not be an aviary build. It will be a branch off of the current trunk. Aviary is dead as far as Fx goes.

from my understanding it sounds like 1.0.1 could be just some small misc bugs and fixes any outstanding security issues?

Surely having a .0 release and then not having any updates (security etc) till the next major update is bad.

Bug 262887 refers to 1.0.1, whether its just talk or going to happen, well who knows.

no build for 1/23. I got very sick last night and my system locked up without me knowing it so it never got around to building.

I'm still sick as can be (just called work to tell them I can't do it today), but my machine kept a level head and stayed okay through the night so 1/24 is up. Now I'm back to bed where I can drown in Robitussin, some small red pill and vucks vapor rub.
