just one question.. when are you going to put the adverts into the layout to make it look like crap because the adverts are flashing me random colors telling me i won $1,000,000?

It would be nice to see where you are going to put the banners. Nice layout however...

As I recall the adverts will run along the right hand side. Don't knock the adverts, without them Neowin wouldn't be here. It's not cheap to run a site of this size.

i changed the screen on the computer to have neowin on it (barely noticable, but i really didnt like the color of the screen before). also, i put a new icon up for gaming news (its from longhorn ;)).

Honestly it looks far better than the current theme more professional and easier on the eyes, except I dont feel comfortable about the top longhorn style bar and the icons its the only thing making it look cheap (or a cheap rip-off) and unoriginal, Neowin needs to cut down on using windows default-style icons even Microsoft.com realized it looks cheap and stopped doing it, also it dosent go with the Neowin logo as it should, sorry for sounding rude but thats my only complaint, everything else is fantabulistic good job can't wait till its done (Y)

They'll integrate it when it's ready and finished. I am sure they have more important things to focus on other than eye candy, such as bugs left over from after the 2.0 upgrade.

i should have a working version online shortly. i have been extremely tied down with extra workload and holidays. now that is all done with i finally have some time to dedicate back to neowin.

expect to hear more on this within in the next month or so.
