yeah, i want to have a true bug reporting system that we can use to track bugs and stuff.

i was planning on doing some sort of selective testing though. we'll see.

Very nice! I do think, however, that the icons across the top leave something to be desired. We need some of the graphic designers around here to come up with some custom neowin icons...

Not only do I think they aren't of sufficient quality, but aside from the search icon, I dont think they particularly reflect their respective functions...

homepage > my desktop icon > maybe a detailed house/home

software news > cd > maybe a software box or a document with software box in the background

gamers news > wtf? paintbrushes? > something game related perhaps...? :unsure:

articles > either thats a printer or a stack of papers.... > should be an article/document

forums > a folder > maybe a mini icon of post/threads

switch to lite > a blank window > maybe a window with a complex layout in the rear and a window with a simple layout in front.

bookmark us > a pen? > maybe a book with a bookmark.

set as homepage > ie icon???? lol > ff icon (heh j/k :devil: :ninja: - maybe a simpler house/home)

search > magnifier > ya dats cool. better search icon tho.

IMO Food's icons or the iPlatinum icons would have been perfect...

Yes good to see i'm not alone on this, IMO get someone to make a unique set (if its not too much trouble) even if they arent of best quality as long as they match the theme and have that neowinian feel at the same time, or perhaps thats asking for too much (i wouldnt know tbh) just trying to help.

I'm pretty sure there won't be an open beta... we've got 53 staff members who can test it on a variety of computers/browsers. It will be done when it's done.
