Only the one of the right I got from there but I found another on DeviantArt (can't remember the account as I'm on the work machine).

Ye, such a solid machine it was an easy choice for my work machine. The older Macbook pro is 1.83ghz CoreDuo, must be over 3 years old but to be honest I don't notice much of a performance difference with the new one  which I guess is a bit of a worry.

Worry is a bit unnecessary these days. I currently have a Toshiba on a Core Duo which I've had for about 3 years also; I'm trying to get rid of the bugger but it holds up very well. I'm kind of embarrassed but it packs a punch against my Wing Fortress. Buy for what you need and don't worry.

If you don't mind me asking what sort of work do you on your Macbook Pro?

True, luckily it still looks good when I take it out :p

Well, my job is mostly as a Windows tech/network admin. So I'm either in Vista (for exchange, visual studio and server admin tools) or using Remote Desktop most of the day. But I also do web site coding (Coda) and marketing stuff (Photoshop). Not done any video editing for a while but I expect that's where I'll see the biggest difference.

Unless you're doing something really intensive you won't really notice a difference. I had the same one (the 1.83ghz first gen) and it's not that much slower than my new one (in my sig)

i'm going to take a wild guess and say it's attached to the macbook (otherwise im sure he would have included the mac pro in the picture ;))

Full marks rudy! lol. I wish it was connected to a Mac Pro, but it's connected to the white MacBook which I love anyway, two and a half years old and still fast and bang up too date compared to a lot of machines xD

'ts been a while.

i have to work late tonight so i cleaned everything up a little, which was not a lot of work, its usually VERY clean here, to feel good.

and before i fired up indesign i thought id take a quick picture with my iphone, which is the reason for the low quality, and post it here!

for further information there are notes on the picture here.

How's that MBA working out for yah?

I love it, great deal on the refrub ones at the Apple Store. Haven't had a problem with it in the 2 months I have had. Great quality machine and I love the "Wows" I get when I go onsite and clients see how small it is.

Works perfect for my remote sessions, web browsing and light work. Took about 8 hours to encode a 2 hour movie the other day though :)
