That's why I prefer Mac's.

They may cost a bit more but can you run Windows Vista on a 6 year old PC? ;) I can run OS X 10.5 on a 6 year old iMac G4 well enough for everyday use. Love the design, the operating system. *sigh*

Not trying to ruin the moment

But in 2002 I got a Sony VAIO RX-850 w/ a P4 @ 2.4Ghz, 1.75GB DDR RAM, and a ATi Radeon 9600SE that runs Vista SP1 quite nicely, sure it's 5.5 years old(not quite 6) but you get the idea.

I'm now officially without a Mac :'( I'm on the family Dell posting this...waiting for my Dual 2GHz PowerMac G5 to arrive (should be between 2-4 weeks from now) ...

Why are you getting a PowerMac now? Just curious ;)

Here's mine, it's not usually this messy, but I'm in the throes of doing homework :p

Crappy iPhone camera, but... meh.

sorry for the mess. just recently added a 500GB time capsule. i had a tv over my desk but the viewing angle was horrible so i took it down. haven't taken off the wall mount because im going to re-do my whole room sometime soon.

Mind sharing the Wallpaper of your left monitor?

How do you like the monitor on the right? Did you get the touchscreen one or the regular one?

i love it, i use it for itunes/ichat since those are always open or w/e program i dont want on the main screens. and i have the regular one, i didn't find the need for the touch screen especially since most places sell the drives for mac instead of including them.

Loving that wall colour!
Yeah definitely (Y)

I've always wanted to paint my walls green, so hard to get the right shade though!

thanks, it was hard to get used to when i first painted it. i picked something similar to apple green but didn't think it would be so bright lol. it reminds me of jolly ranchers :p

Heh yeah, seems like more a lime green.

My room is a light shade of blue but bright. It'd be ok as a feature wall but all my walls? heh.

i've had marine blue and bluish grey. my favorite was this candy apple red. it was so awesome but i had it for a year and it was time for a change lol

    • Brave and Firefox. I’ve been using them as my primary browsers for a while now, perfect combo
    • They want Ring 0 access. Should be a hard no. A middle ground needs to be found.
