What is the "hotmail error page method"?

How do you get your free accounts upgraded to 2000mb?

look at this thread. but MS has supposedly fixed the bug so no more users can get a 2 gig @msn.com account. :/

What is the "hotmail error page method"?
How to get an msn.com account.

Go to http://hotmail.com.

At the .NET Passport Sign-in box, enter anything for the email address, but make sure you add @msn.com and enter anything for the password.

You should just get an sign in error.

Click on Register with .NET Passport, if you haven't already.

Now when the sign up page has loaded up, you should see [username box]@msn.com

here is what you have to do.

1-if you are using winxp sp1 run your MSN Explorer 7.02 and signup for new accont,

2-if you do not have winxp sp1 installed then download MSN Explorer 7.02 form this URL http://download.microsoft.com/download/msn...snsetup_min.exe

and signup for new account

enjoy it

thank you

this was the method that worked for me. but that was creating a new account, not existing ones, i'm not too sure about exisitng @msn.com accounts.

Ha, would any1 have done this had Gmail not done it? No of cource not it was the first 1 gig email and the best

    • Indeed - drives me mad - usually because Refresh is hidden in the full menu.
    • Firefox has had rounded corners for many years. I take it you're not a fan of modern browsers?
    • The problem is in the fundamentals of how businesses are allowed to operate and the change should happen in the basics and certain consumer friendly and moral practices should be enforced by law. This would fix so many things, not just this ages old default browser issue which is a tiny drop in the backut that includes a flood of privacy and other issues.
