Nothing special indeed.

Bought it two weeks ago in a shop for $10 (very cheap).It has 8 buttons and a nice 2-axis direction pad.

As you can see it's a USB gamepad, pretty much plug and play.You just turn on your pc, plug the controller in and Windows (WinXP, Win2k, Win ME, WinNT & Win98) recognizes the pad without any problems.

If you consider the price the pad is very good.Looks nice and feels good in your hands.I only have a few games that actualy support gamepads.The reason I bought the gamepad actualy is to play emulated games.All emulators had no problems with the pad (Zsnes ,Snes9x, ePSXe, Project64 ,VisualBoy Advance, ...etc).

I played some PC games with it too (the few I have with gamepad support), like:

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and Silent Hill 2 and it worked great too.

Overall, in it's price range I would give it a 9/10.

The pros:

* looks somewhat nice

* easy to use (plug and play)

* great compatibilty

* nice shape (hand-friendly)

The cons:

* has no start/select buttons in front (but you can use keyboard as extension)

* maybe the cable is a bit too short - but aren't all gamepad cable too short ;)
