MSN Premium accounts with @msn.com .NET Passport can use the following server:

POP3: pop3.email.msn.com

SMTP: smtp.email.msn.com

Need to tick "SPA" in Outlook Express and Microsoft Office Outlook.

Can this 2GB @msn.com also?

tried using these settings for the 2 GB msn account I created today, but POP3 server type doesn't work.

had to choose server type as HTTP to access the account via MS Outlook 2003.

So no pop3?

Well i always understood that when i migrated to the new MSN 8 from the old MSN 2.:p:p that pop3 would be disabled and i won't be able to use it anymore.

However if they do bring it back it's probably just for old MSN accounts or paying customers as it is a different server.

So no pop3?

No pop3 , but it can still be set up to work with Outlook, and O.E...:yes:s:

How to Configure Outlook with an MSN Web-based Account

Click Start , point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Double-click the Mail icon.

Click E-mail Accounts.

Click to select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.

In the User Name box: type your MSN account name.

In the Password box: enter your password if you want to save it.

In the Remember password box: click to select if you want to have your password saved.

Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): do not click to select this check box.

Configure the Connection tab, as needed.

Click OK.

Click Next, and then click Finish.

Your MSN Web-based Inbox now appears in the Outlook Bar and the Folder List.

    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
