Thanks for the feedback! :?)

My plan is to add the text back on the grey taskbar versions, but not the coloured, I think that gives people the best options.

I'll shrink the start button padding also, I wanted it bigger on purpose, as to not clutter it so you don't notice it.

Question: You guys think that the start button bitmap (winflag) is too far out to the right, compared to OpusOS?

Yep i think so too.. and it seems not vertically centered.. hehe don't know if it should be, it's b0se's theme after all.. you did great work b0se :)

Start button: I'm shrinking the borders and centering it...

No, I'm not going to change the button, I love it, and its too much hassle to change just because a few people don't like it.

Taskbar: Staying the same (they are still thin!), this is not based off OpusOS and is more of a classic replacement, too thin bars makes it less useable.

Why are some people so unappreciative?

Comment on CodeOpus by 'deepdose' (on DeviantART):

"A little 2 orginal for me.."

Why bother with the sarcasm? Really makes me wonder why we bother sometimes. Not to mention it IS original, but based on Classic...

<sigh>

what do you mean by "can anyone suggest a new start button"? b0se has bent over backwards to implement some of the changes you people have demanded. do you people realize that b0se is doing all this work for free? it's his vision of what the skin should look like that is important, not yours. b0se is the one crafting it, not you or i. let him make the skin the way he wants it. if he wants 'menu' on the start button, then he can have it. if you don't, mod it for personal use. good grief, people!! allow the man to make a skin, then you decide if you want to use it or not. i can not believe how gracious b0se has been to thus far and still, you guys ask/demand more.

Can anyone please suggest a new start button....a variation?? For some reason this one is not sitting too well on me...along with some other neowinians I have contacted..

You've contacted? What, have you started a little "i want a different start button" mailing list where you send nude pictures of yourself to every other member and then you get back together later in the week to discuss your findings?

Er...I mean....you want a new start button so badly, make your own. It's not rocket surgery.

I, on the other hand, like this start button for the main reason that I like not having to hit an exact 16x16 pixel area to get my start menu...moving the mouse to the bottom left and clicking at random brings up my start menu, and I like that. Great work b0se, and keep on truckin',

Bose, you should take account of the ratio between all the positive and negative feedbacks.

Given this ratio (I would say, 99.5 to 1) my only guess is that people who don't like this VS and are aggressive against you are just morons who try to start a flame war.

Pretty much everyone else, including me, really appreciate the time & effort you put in all the VS you created.
