[MLB] Giambi diagnosed with benign tumor

Yankees are not saying where the tumor is located at. They are also saying that they suspect him back later this season.

I hope he gets better. This might be the best time for Boston to catch up to the Yankees, but you never know what will happen in the next 15+ hours.

Oh man, that really sucks. Hope he can recover and get well soon.

"I am relieved that they found something that is treatable and I look forward to getting well, coming back strong and helping the Yankees win," he said.

Well, that is good news. Hope to see him back on the field quickly.

As much of a red sox fan as I am, this sucks. Giambi always seemed like a genuine human being; I'm glad to see that he should recover soon. If it was Jeter though... I don't know how I'd feel, HAHA. Joking.... mostly.
