I'd wonder how long it will take to crack the SP2 security :p well if you look at XP, with the "uncrackable" activation, there will be 10 of em at August 5 :rofl:

Well there is no added security to disable SP2 on illegal copies of XP. Only thing added is WindowsUpdate.com does NOT allow you to get updates, i.e. making anyone on a network with an illegal copy of XP be a security weakness for the entire network. Way to go Microsoft with the increase of security! :blink:

On the same line ... the only way you'll get around WindowsUpdate would probably be to change your key ... so, yeah, there will be new keys leaked probably ... then they'll work for a few days, then MS will block them. So either way, you're screwed, lol.

I also install a lot of apps and such to try them out when I know Im gonna format, and then everything is indeed screwed up :D

Not this time though, I still have everything nice and tidy, but in 2-5 days Im gonna get my new motherboard so Im gonna have to reinstall Windows. I just hope that by that time the network install is available so I can slipstream my installation :)
