Could anyone quicky describe how i can get group policy working and depoly changes to the windows 2000 client. no matter what i do, I cant get it working. stiff~meister Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 This will not work in the default computer and user container in ad. a new container needs to be created and policies needs to be applied on the new ou's. the userid and the computer account needs to be added in different ou's. if it is windows 2000 go to a command prompt and run secedit /refreshpolicy user_policy /enforce and secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce after the computer and user object was moved to the ou with the policies njoy stiff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
