The core system file (kernel)...

Recommended Posts

When installing SP2 for Windows XP onto SP1a:

The core system file (kernel) used to start this computer is not a Microsoft Windows file.  The Service Pack will not be installed.  For more information, see Knowledge Base article Q327101 at http://support.microsoft.com.

According to what I've heard, this is because I am using Window Blinds and BootXP. Well I am, but I replaced ntoskrnl.exe with the clean one that "Booteditor" comes with. Does anyone know how to fix this so i can install SP2?
