antlane
Having installed SP2, I'm now getting a page_fault_in_non_paged_area bluescreen when it tries booting up. I've tested the memory and no errors come up. I'm able to get into safe mode but nothing shows up in the event log. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do? Thanks in advance. Porthos SG1
That error is not memory, it is a driver.
antlane
Thanks. Is there any way of finding out which driver is causing it?
Rix
My old video card drivers used to give me that message, try updating them :)

antlane
Even though I had the latest drivers installed, reinstalling them seemed to have done the trick. It rebooted fine but then my pivot software (Pivot Pro) asked to be reinstalled which I allowed. Upon rebooting, I got the original error message again. I reinstalled the drivers and then although Pivot Pro asked to be reinstalled, it didn't actually happen. I've now uninstalled Pivot Pro and fingers crossed, all seems to be OK. As I've never used the pivot function before, I don't think I'll miss it! Thanks for your help, Ant.
