Veteran Posted August 10, 2004 Veteran Share Posted August 10, 2004 cuz the version they realeased was RTM... not RTW.... they are the samething but big customers (companies) and developers get it first then the other more streamlined version is for people who don't wanna download a 266MB file since they'll prolly don't even need all the updates involved. The one on windows update will prolly be around 17-50MB via express download. Which scanns your system and sees what you need then only applies those.
