Guest w2sjw Posted August 10, 2004 Share Posted August 10, 2004 Just a quick question - Does SP-2 have a prerequisite of SP-1? The reason I ask this is for slipstreaming purposes. I have my factory original CD from MS, and the one I made when SP-1 came out. CAN I slipstream SP-2 into my SP-1 updated copy or SHOULD I only do it into the factory original (if there are no prerequisites). I don't want to end up making a coaster! Thanks in advance! Dazzla Veteran Posted August 10, 2004 Veteran Share Posted August 10, 2004 Nope, SP2 includes all of Sp1 so you can slipstream SP2 to a regular old XP Gold or SP1 so either will do :) I only had a SP1 CD handy so I slipstreamed into that, it's fine either way.
