[Firefox] Doc contains no data error

Recommended Posts

Whilst surfing around the net using Mozilla Firefox, I frequently get an error shown below:

firefoxerror.JPG

I am not sure how it happened. I've only formatted and reinstalled Windows yesterday. I have the following extensions running on Firefox 0.9.3 on Windows XP Pro:

DOM inspector

Adblock 0.5

Reload Every 0.2.1

Download Manager Tweak 0.4.3

Add Bookmark 0.5

Tab-Browsing Extension 1.102004060401

Statusbar Clock

Seach This

Text Links

What would be the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks :)

i forgot to mention that, even if you do the 'browser.xul.error_pages.enabled' fix, you still won't be able to access those pages that produce those errors until you turn pG off.

Type about:config into the URL Address bar.

Go to browser.xul.error_pages.enabled and set it to true.

I like that better. I've had it set that way for a while because then I could press the try again button. Kinda sucks when you closed out the website you go the link from and then you have to find it again.

That or you're playing a game and loading those sites, then the poup comes up and you lose, or it freezes your computer.

Thanks, everyone. I hope Mozilla fixs the bug soon as it is annoying as hell.

Fotix, that only enables error messages to be displayed in a webpage, and not a message box. same annoyance. :( so it's not a good solution.
