Well the players from the other countries also play in their leagues (some in the NBA) and don't get to practice as a team very often either. I think it's more of a attitude thing, the NBA players come from the best league in the world so they think they can beat every other team in the world 120 to 70 wihout even trying. That was certainly true for the original dream team, but other countries caught up now, it's not a walk in the park anymore!

Erm, actually, most of them start much earlier than America. Some even train year-round with most (not all) of their players. When you only have a few players playing professionally it's much easier.

But I agree with you it's about attitude, too... but it's attiude AND chemistry.

I'm sure it would've been a walk around the boardwalk if the original players invited to come accepted instead of being babies and not going because of "security reasons".

Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Jason Kidd and Shaquille O'Neal.

These four players plus Tim Duncan who is already in the team will make the REAL DREAM TEAM USA.

Well, AFAIK, except for Kobe, all the rest decided not to represent their country, so I wouldn't want them to be in it if I was from the USA. Screw them.

If they did accept to come, the US would blow out every single team by 20+ points with these guys on the court.

Kidd: not a good shooter, but a great passer and has a great view of the court, not to mention his fast break abilities.

Garnett: a 7 foot non-center who can shoot jump shots, dunk, and block as well as rebound better than any other

Kobe: What can we say? He'll beat you from the 3 point line, off the dribble, and off everything.

Shaq: Feel sorry for whoever guarded him in the paint. He would make the zone defense look like a High School teams defensive allignment.

Now, tell me these guys together wouldn't romp all the competition

    • This saddens me greatly
    • Well again I do not mind seeing it charge my stuff if it does it well. "yeah charge my phone like that, charge it good"
    • Getting so tired of this push for that new useless slop over the less-useless old slop that at this point I just want M$ to have this nice, big, hearty cup of *FU*.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.168 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. • Thanks Microsoft but no, I find both iterations of Outlook terrible nowadays and switched back to Thunderbird at home.
