Processor Temperature Database

Recommended Posts

OK everyone i've written a script that records and catorgories the information... been working with Space Guy on this, the thread starter!

Processor Information Database

theres the sumbit form to add ur own data!

Its mostly done... few things need tweaking.... a lot of the code is from my SNMS new management script which i'm currently codeing so where u see the word "news" just ignore it... i'll change it soon!

ok hope this resource helps a lot of you

Mobile Athlon 2500+ @ 2700MHz (1.85V)

Home made Water cooling

Case temperature 29?C

CPU Temperature 34.5?C

motherboard temperature 35.5?C

I think in winter time, with room temperature around 20?C temperature of CPU will drop to around 25?C.

You have to LOVE AMD, because they are running so COOL and QUIET :ro:whistle:stle:

Processor: Northwood p4 2.8

Motherboard: Asus p4p800 SE

Heatsink: thermal take spark 5 rpm:4150

Case: Antec plusview 1000 amg

# of Case Fans: 6

Avg Room Temp:22

CPU Temp: idle 25-26 stress (unknown yet)

(I understand my CPU temps are unusually low, but then I am also assured that ASUS mobos report the temps as lower then they actully are)

Processor: AMD 1700+ standard oc'd to 2200+

Motherboard: Albatron KX400+ Pro

Heatsink (4800rpm): Vantec Aero flow 2

Case: Some kickass black case

# of Case Fans: 6 or so

Avg Room Temp: 77f

CPU Temp (Idle - Stress): (34F 41F)

Average Case Temp 32F

great database but where is the cpu type??

as i see it this affects your temps more than your motherboard

ie: amd 1500+ or 3200+ will they generate the same ammount of heat

Processor (Standard or Mobile): AMD Athlon 1Ghz (T-bird)

Motherboard: Azza KT-3AV

Heatsink (rpm) -or- Watercooled (setup details): Coolermaster heatsink 5500RPM

Case: No name case

# of Case Fans: 1 80mm

Avg Room Temp: 18C

CPU Temp (Idle - Stress): 37C - 43C

Well, my computer registers at 65*C when doing normal apps like Trillian, iTunes, Outlook, Semagic, Bittorent, Symantec Corporate, and Powermenu. This is pretty much idle temperature. However, I do not use this temperature because I believe it is misreported. If it isn't then I'm in trouble. The heatsink is nowhere near 65*C. I use my system temperature to gage what's going on which is at 38*C steady.

However, desktop temperatures range a lot differently from Laptop temperatures from what I understand.

ever since I got this litle app for checking CPU and HDD temperatures, I've closely monitored the numbers. My 1.5 Ghz Pentium M toshiba usually tuns within the range of 49C - 65C. How does your computer generate/handle heat as compared to mine??

and whats that "litle app"?

edit: could u pm me to tell me the app bcz i g2g2bed. thx sim1

P4 2.8E (yeah the HOT one!)

No overclocking.......

100 degrees (F)

Hydrocool water cooler temp 85 degrees (F)

case temperature 82 degrees (F)

I don't overclock......so why the water cooler......because I can see the clear

tubes with green water flowing through it LOL..........

(actually, it was because it is QUIETER than a huge fan(s) inside the case)

I wonder if your Toshiba is fanless. Anyway my 2.4GHz P4C also runs in that range. The reason why it runs so hot is because it has a Vantec Stealth fan (not stealth enough). When it had a High Speed Panaflo fan it ran in the high 20 and low 30 degree Celsuis ranges.
