Kanecorp Posted April 2, 2002 Share Posted April 2, 2002 I have a strange problem. I recently went to set up 3 computers to a network. It was a network with a router and a cable modem. 2 of the 3 computers connected and setup perfectly. One was on XP home, and the other on 98. I'm having trouble with the one on XP Pro. I would run through the wizards on the computer with no success. So I entered in all the info (ip, dns, gateway etc) myself. The computers finally see the XP Pro computer, but the xp pro computer cannot access the internet (or the router setup) or access any of the other computers. The account on the XP pro computer is present on both the win98 and xp home computer, and access is set up acordingly. I am less worried about file sharing, and really only care about Internet Access. Any suggestions are welcome thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
