so whats everyone's favourite cover songs?

i enjoyed Crosby Stills Nash and Young's cover of Woodstock (song was originally done by Joni Mitchell)

Lenny Kravitz's cover of the Guess Who's American Woman

Big Sugar - Let it Ride (cover of the Bachman turner overdrive song)

The Guess Who - Light my fire (a very rare cover of the doors hit)

BTO - House of the Rising Sun (a kinda new cover of the 60s hit by i forget who :s)

It is not japanese. I dont know who it is. I just grabbed a whole list while searching for punk cover. sounds like pennywise or maybe me first and the gimme gimmes

/edit but the gin and juice cover is the best i have heard.

u can get the box set on Amazon I think - definitely on eBay - I have it (and the Samhain box set) - the CD covers r cool - theyre opaque black - and u get a Fiend Club Badge and a cool lyric booklet with it.

Yeh I got pretty much every Danzig-written song - and the classical album 'Black Aria'

Yeh the new Misfits are crappy methinks...

Stevie Ray Vaughn - Voodoo Child [preferably the one played at Carnegie hall - 13 minutes long!!!).

I guarantee if you are a Hendrix fan you will love this song. BTW if you watched Black Hawk Down - just as they're getting into the chopper near the start of the movie they're playing this very version of the song.
