dangthang
It happened before that. It happens while copying drivers etc. Never made it as far as you. midway40
That is strange but it gives me hope at least. Only difference I see is that I used instructions similiar to this using Nero. The actual instructions I used (from a saved webpage) are at home but this one is pretty much the same . But I don't see how that would relate to your problem. I have seen other SP2 slipstreaming pages like this where all kinds of different volume names were used so I don't think that is the problem either. midway40
I would love to go ahead and try the SP2 CD out but I just don't want to go through another reinstall right now, lol. OptiPlex
I tried slipstreaming Dell OEM SP1a CD to SP2. Now, when I boot I get:"File usbehci.sys is corrupt" From earlier post. I too am getting the same error and I have downloaded the files from the earlier post and put them in the 1386 folder prior to burning. This happens will several versions of the DELL OEM restore CD's Also is it critical to have the volume label the same as the original CD when making the bootable image? That usually means that there is a usbehci.sys file AND a usbehci.sy_ file and setup does not know which one to use. I got a better cleanup guide somewhere :ninja: Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/211039-slipstream-sp2-into-dell-cd/page/3/#findComment-584611972 Share on other sites
