When you hear that "a terorrist today blew himself up and killed 20 other people" are you surprised it is a Muslim? Really?

the WTC and Wash terrorists were different, they had no cause and they had no world support, the Palestinians have support NOT in thier bombings but in getting thier 1967 land back, second, all you talk about is bombings and u dont talk about the reason behind it, now im sure ur mind will say oh they just want to kill Israel Alltogether, cuz thats what the US, jewish media tells you while the Palestinian and Arabic media themselve say that its the occupation which makes a man, a woman and young kid go into desperation. Do you know why teenagers all over the world commit suicide, psychiatrists say because in thier hearts there is no hope to live, there is your answer,

Generalizations ... to make or prove a point.

Examples:

-Most people in Japan are under 7 feet tall.

-Most Australians speak English.

-Most NSYNC fans are under 65

...I could go on.

For your information, the examples you were given were means of the statistics of actual facts and samples from the area of study. How you use that as an example for your reckless stereotyping is astounding nonetheless. Can you PROVE or give me statistical facts that MOST of the Muslim schools are taught hatred?

A 20/20 interview last week made this quite clear

Need i say more? 20/20 interview? Maybe 'we' should realise that the boob tube isn't exactly the best source for facts. Next thing we know, you'll be saying that the Sky is RED just because Jay Leno said so.

I know ACO has his finger on the kill trigger, ready to blame me (as I was singled out) for a thread getting out of hand. If a moderator has a problem, please use the PM. Moderators request the same courtesy all of the time.

I have no hatred for Muslims, I have no personal reason to hate any Muslim. I believe in live and let live. I also believe in speaking the truth. I listen to and watch to numerous news outlets, not just the "jewish media", whatever that is. My country practices tolerance, and I strongly agree with it.

President Bush, Clinton, etc. are not to blame for the current mid-east crisis. Terrorists are.

The End

Rofl, nothing like blaming 2000+ years of anti-sematism on an American president at the outset of the 21st century.

Sorry, I wouldn't call "the current middle-east crisis" a result of Bush's "bad foreign policy." I'd call it the result of religion.

Blaming this crap on Bush is like blaming Vladimir Puton for the crusades.

BTW: Anyone seen any canadians running into pizzerias and blowing up americans? Yeah, didn't think so.

I am a rare poster but I thought I could make some appropriate comments regarding the prevailing situation.

How does hatred start? by polishing someones mind or by causing damage to a person.

Some of you guys say hatred is taught in Muslim schools, this is as a whole wrong, it might be taught in less than 1% of Muslim schools. I went to a muslim school but I have a lot of non-muslim friends with whom I am fairy comfortable as I am with muslim friends. Then where is the hatred? There are some schools that polish muslims minds and are run by fanatics, but I haven't seen one at least in Bangalore.

A human can go mad if he is hurt, Palestinian people are hurt because their land has been occupied (illegally) by Israel, they have a right to get back their land.

This is similar to a situation where rebels used to fight against Colonial rule. There used to be suicide bombings, were they terrorists?

So the ultimate solution exists in solving the basic problems existing in our world.

No Israeli occupation = no suicide bombings = peace.

If you go back in time, you will realise that people fought against Soviet forces in Afghanistan and after that because of infighting b/n Northern Alliance, Taliban could rise.

So whom do you blame for this, obviously the NA, who care for themselves more than the Afghans.

If such a situation were not there, would Taliban have ever existed? There would have never been a WTC attack.

If anyone has a doubt if muslims are taught violence in schools, take a look at the following link,

note the sentence where some young people approach the convener of the camp to become suicide bombers. Is islam responsible for this or the Gujrati Hindu extremists??

It is fairly true that American media has been creating hatred for Muslims. For Example-

CNN shows Palestinians celebrating just after WTC attack. The attacks took place in the morning, then it is evening in Palestine, but the video shoot showed day there. This is a fact, I had actually got this info from BBC, which showed how irresponsible CNN was.

Solve the West Asia problem and we are sure to get peace.

American media is going to show things like people celebrating after 9/11 because it?s unbelievable to watch. It is something that gets registered in the minds of Americans because we are in a judgment mode right now. We are watching the world and judging them against there views, beliefs and actions versus our own. Once we have found our moral high ground the world better take notice. This country does not like getting attacked. It feels personally threatened by terrorism and is reconfiguring its entire military machine to fight this. Countries will be destroyed and civilizations remade in order to secure a lasting peace for the rest of world.

The western world doesn't respect the Arab world I'm afraid. Its values and ideals are backward and obsolete to us. This does not include the Muslim world because in truth we respect the Muslim faith. It is a cousin to Christiananity and is based on many of the same beliefs. The Muslim faith has a home in the west. The problem is the Arab world has used the Muslim religion as a cloak to unite its followers in a common theme. Righteousness and solidarity against the values of the west. We can see this very clearly because our history repeats it, many times. We know that a state can manipulate religion to its own goals. And it works very effectively as each suicide bombing proves. This is a criticism against Israel also. Any state that combines religion and politics into a government is doomed to failure. It isolates people in there society and makes there actions suspect in whether or not it is justified. It also takes the place of common sense when making decisions on the people you govern. Israel is doomed to fail according to history. Pluralism and the Separation of Church and State removes bias and creates an air for justice. Something that is truly missing from the Middle East.

I do not believe that the two types of civilizations can co-exist together on this planet without one being absorbed into the other. It?s for the betterment of mankind. How they absorb each other is anyone?s guess. War, trade, religion forces them together. It is only a matter of time before one dominates the other.

If I where a betting man I would say that history is on the side of the west, but one can never be to sure about history.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
