These type of threads come up ever day or so it seems :| for large an popular files I would use bittorrent.

Torrents is where it's at. Use Shareaza if necessary but it's not that great for torrents. You might want to start there because it does Gnutella2 and some other useless protocols (namely Gnutella1 and eDonkey/eMule) all in one package.

Popular Files = BitTorrent or eMule. DC++ is another choice for popular files, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a user with a decent upload and some slots open.

For Hard to Find Files: Emule and Bearshare but Emule has slow speeds.

For MP3 Downloading: WinMX I use This For Music and Albums.

For Downloading Movies: Warez P2P fairly new program I use it for downloading Movies.

each time you get a n00b thread then you get to increase your postcount by at least 1 often more cos some dudde says this isnt a noob thread (not everyone has seen it) then you do a counterattack and so it goes on :D
