im wanting to erm.. download some big files (pretty popular) and was wondering which one you guys thought was the best?

It's an awesome bit of software, but so is WinMX. No matter what you pick don't go with Kazaa :)

1 - bittorrent (many files, fast)

2 - emule (has the most files, slow)

3 - kazaa lite resurrection (for mp3, fast)

please dont use shareaza, its very slow, and emule has many more files

Bit Torrent -> For large popular files.

eDonkey2000 -> For large rare files go with edonkey2000, it's pretty fast. Shareza rapes the resources in my experience, and I don't know if it connects to overnet and supports horde.

Music -> SoulSeek.

depends what you wnat, everyone uses differend p2p, if you can find everything with both programs you need, then delete kazaa yes ;)

Try out piolet, its one of the best music filesharing programs, faster and better inteface then winMX ;)

The MP2 Network, its a very big network with only music files, it has a bit spyware, but it still works whne the spyware is removed ;)

Ares or mammoth are so much better, cause the networks are still "clean"

kazaa is so much slower these days, cause ppl on kazaa are mostly kids that don share, or ****s that share virusses or soemthing and think thats fun, also you gto the RIAA that shares files with the same hashes, so it downloads them with real files, and you end up with ahlf working mp3's

Shareaza not slow?

just use 2 pc's and download the same file with shareaza and bittornado or emule, see what downloads the fastest, with settings optimized on both

I just installed LimeWire Pro & WinMX and uninstall Kazaa.

Which is best for MP3, VIDEOS, MOVIES (not so much).

WinMX good for MP3's

mammoth also good for all sort of files

LimeWire Pro also for like verything :p

just use the program you like the most
