And if you happen to have signatures enabled, the kid in the bottom right of the picture is me at 4 years old, Halloween Day 1979, dressed as Shazam

Nice shirt! Shame Valve don't have a UK store :/

Really? That is indeed a shame. I got that one and my Counter Strike shirt as well.

Larry why is your hair on the bottom of your head?! :o

Because I lost all of my hair moderating the Gamers Hangout. :p

DL you do have some kick ass t shirts. Still like that Atari controller one you have

LOL Thanks.

Bad news though. I just got the word from Big Boss last night (in my world that means my wife LOL), that I have to go through my T Shirts this weekend and get rid of some for charity.

Honestly though, it is insane, I have over 100 T Shirts (probably over 20 that are just gaming related), and I am not even sure what I have anymore, but any T-Shirt you have seen to make it to Neowin, I will not be getting rid of.

LOL when I first read that I thought MGS  (I'm sure you know who Big Boss is in relation to MGS?)

You buy the gaming tshirts or are they collectors items (came with game bundles)?

Oh, I specifically put it because of Big Boss in MGS. ;)

The gaming shirts are a combination of the two above, plus some just random ways of getting them.

I would say 30% came with bundles or pre orders, but the remaining 70% I ordered online through official sites.

But here is a random way of getting them...

My wife (girlfriend at the time as it was like 3 years ago) ordered something from someone on Ebay, it was literally a pair of dress shoes. For whatever reason the person gave her 3 free T Shirts because they actually wrapped the shoes in the TShirts. The 3 Tees were all official Capcom shirts... Sonic The Hedgehog, Resident Evil (I was so happy to get that), and just a Capcom logo??? Thing was they were a bit small on me, and they got smaller with washing. I actually had my wife contact the person, and it turned out their husband worked for Capcom and just got a ton of free shirts. LOL

If I really like a game or developer though, I tend to seek out a shirt. I am pretty sure I will be getting an official MGS shirt.

Cool story (Y)

 You're being asked to chuck tshirts out, yet you'll go buy more!!

If any of us ever see a slightly tramp-ish guy with short hair in Sainsburys tapping away furiously at his iPhone, we'll be sure to come over and say hello :p

    • $80 or 90%, anything else would be financial suicide one way or another.
    • Or... just use Bitwarden. Free, and has on-prem option as well. Works both on desktop and mobile, wherever you are. The age of local password files is over.
    • Thanks
    • I actually got to use one of those so called "backup codes" once. It was for a customer, I choose the backup code option, and by the grace of god, they actually hade them printed out. Imagine my surprise, when after using the backup code, Google then told use we had to enter a code they just sent to the gmail address we currently did not have access to. I was not amused, Google backup codes should be the end all get out of jail free card, because you had to have access to the account to even get them.
    • On the topic of being locked out of a service. Recently two different friends of mine got locked out of their Google accounts. Both were hack attempts and one of them is waiting 30 days before he can get back in. He had backup codes and MFA but not a passkey. It was a browser token hack. Anyhow he has to wait 30 days for the dispute or whatever to end. The other person only had a password and is screwed losing all of the email, docs and years of photos. Google won’t help her at all. Her fault because she had no backup/recovery setup. Enable passkeys if possible. Also do NOT use browser based password managers. If using a cloud service make sure it is one you can fully sync to one of your devices so you can back it up. Like a PC or Mac with some backup drive plugged into it. Google is the worst to use IMHO. You can’t sync your photos at all. You have to use the “Take Out” service which is manual and takes days. That service strips the meta data from your photos. Also Google Docs synced to a device are useless without a Google accounts. MS Office/Libre Office is not going to open a link to a Google doc to a dead account.
