Migraine Cures

ok its 7:30pm and i just had to come home from work because i feel like my head is splitting in two, anyone got any sure fire migraine cures? i cant sleep, so im sat in a dark room atm.... any other ideas?

I read about hypnosis, and imagining you are inside a bright white light, being filled with energy. I don't know though, I've never had migraines.

Have you tried any prescription medication?

I've found that Maxalt MLT (10mg tablets) works well for me. It has to be taken right at the onset of the initial aura though. If you wait till the headache kicks in, the medication will probably have little to no effect.

i used imitix (sp?) a script

i would see a doctor could be something serious or not
