"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

I have two theories...

1.

Since the numbers add up to 108, and that just happens to be the timer duration. IF they entered other numbers would the total of those be the new timer? IE 31 32 33 34 35 36 = 201 would the timer then be 201?

2.

IF the timer did run out, would the magnet switch off? if so why would that be bad? well the guy on the film said, it was a research facility. What if the magnet device was some type of thing to protection the location of the island, so if it was switched off the world would see it.

Just a couple of observations :)

I completely buy the psychology experiment theory because my mother (who has a Bachelors degree in psychology [not sure which specific field though]) said that it was a psychology experiment well BEFORE the orientation video was shown. When that video was shown we both looked at each other, smiled and she said, "it HAS to be a psychology experiment. It has all the signs of one."

I am starting to wonder if the flashbacks aren't really true, if maybe they have all been programmed and realesed to see how they respond in a "lab" setting.

Hadn't thought of that ... I bet you're right. I'll have to bring that one up to my mother. She'll probably agree (it would explain a lot of the weird things going on).

i have some theories of my own.

1)

the "others" that captured jin, soyer, and mike, are the people from the tail part of the plane.

1.2)

The people from the tail section, think that the people they captured, and the islands "others", and the people from the body of the plane (the main characters) think that the people from the tail part of the plane, are the islands others. so each parts of the plane.. have there own stories (season 1 = body, season 2 = tail?).

2)

in the film locke watched, during the end it said "do not use this computer" and cuts off.. could desmond edited the film (like cut it up) to block information?

3)

the guy that pulled michelle up from the whole.. possibly be the black ladies husband? she said she has a feeling he's alive, and we have not seen what he looks like yet. and at the end of episode 3, he talks. and all of a sudden, previews for episode 4, show that black lady again, after how many episodes?

That would make alot of sense!

is it so much to ask to continue on where the post started e.g. blanking out spoilers like everyone else did back in January? come on it only takes

im not asking you to no discuss it just to hide spoilers like it was requested in previous posts on this topic.

Dont get me wrong it is insightful to see how it is progressing, I aint asking you to not speak about it.?;))

totally understand what you mean

hope everyone does that, so the show isn't ruined to some of the ones looking at this forum

http://www.thehansofoundation.org/dharma.html <-has anyone else seen this?

Does anyone else know what is meant by 'Do not use a computer to...' then it skips the next part of the sentence?

edit: sorry! I just checked the earlier pages in the thread and saw the link!

This has been mentioned several times earlier in this thread.

This may have already been posted, but I really don't feel like going through 50+ pages ... anyway, there is a Podcast on iTunes called "The Transmission" ... http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...066268&s=143441

The Podcast talks about the previous episode and those who are doing the podcast give their opinions about what everything means. Very interesting

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
