Then why hasn't Sawyer Boned Kate yet, he wanted it! So if you think about it, it makes NO sense other than the writers are saving the Love for Jack and Kate later!

I think you are wrong. I think Kate secretly wants Jack!

I think you'll find that with the average show being rated 14 or PG there won't be any 'boning'. It would be highly impractical for someone else to get pregnant.

yeah, is not Melrose Place for people to start "boining" each other, the "chemistry" or sexual relationships between them is only secondary to the plot and develoment of the show. The only people that I guess have had sex is Sajid, and Jin.

And about the others, once I saw how easily Jack and co. got in trouble with them, I though my self the same thing, we must have an army. Not to attack, rather protect the survivors, scout the island completely, and such

I think Kate likes jack a lot, but also likes Sawyer for completely different reasons. Jack seems to be pretty hurt from that wiht his ignoring her. And she seems pretty down that he is ignoring her now. I am really looking forward to it all though, this is a huge step for the show. But yeah, I hope charlie doesn't die, because he is a decent character.

I also have begun to like Rodriguez since she met jack in the forest. She is on her road to being liked. The preview for the next episode is depressing though, charlie looks like he might do something extremely stupid.

Even withoght an agent in there group (ethen/goodwin) the others still seem to know what they are up to, from what the boat man said they know they have the hatch.

so how can they expect to build an army, the others will see them trainning and if they think they will be come a thret they would strike first.

Was also interesting how the boat man said 'from now on there's a line' or something. He seemed to be talking about an actual physical line on the ground in front of him, not about a meta-physical concept of 'the line you don't cross'.

The Losties should definately try to scout out the area the others are in, what I presume is the dark territory?

i was disappointed with the lack of ecko in this episode. i didn't understand why they didn't take ecko with them. i'm pretty sure he would have helped a lot. either way the show is getting way better and staying surprising.

i didn't expect the man from the boat to appear.

eko would have whipped the others asses. the writers of the show clearly couldnt send eko along for that very reason. :rofl:

Why is walt on the computer? My guess is, they are using the kids, to imput the code, because they do not want to. the "others" are probably in another hatch, just like the main cast is.. and were in the same shoes as the people from that flight.

so maybe.. just maybe, they are kidnapping kids, to imput the code.. which is why walt is on the computer?

No, that wouldn't be my read on it.

Basically, Jack realized that sooner or later, the Others will come after everyone. The Others look like they have a decent amount of people. If the suvivors don't train up and prepare for that, they will be dead at some point. You saw how easily the others tore apart the unarmed tailies, 4-5 of the armed survivors cannot protect the other 40 unarmed ones.

If almost everyone gets armed and some basic gun training, they could probably hold off the others if an attack happened. It would be their only shot, as it is clear they are living on borrowed time.

So you're reading it that he wanted to build an army for a defensive position? I read it the other way. I think Jack wants to go on the offensive and attack the others.

Someone mentioned earlier how Michael is starting to look like the French woman because of the hair, etc. but if you think about it, they are nearly identical in behavior since they BOTH have had their child taken away from them. It's interesting how their erratic behavior is paralleled. I wonder if Micheal will end up in following the French woman's footsteps thinking everyone is "infected" and starts killing people... who knows?!

Well he was looking pretty nuts at the beginning of the episode (he really didn't seem like the same Michael we know and love :\), and he will be in the jungle alone for a long time (the others don't think he'll ever find Walkt)... so who knows :\

Slave labour? :p Nah, I doubt it.. I really think the meaning of the code and all that is just a social experiment... I doubt they would give these guys any kind of power... if for example the computer resulted in the island being destroyed, the others would have come and taken control of it already.

We're still waiting for the "incident" that will happen as a result of them both using the computer...somehow I doubt the chances that Walt can hack the computer into communicating with the other bunker, so I'm guessing its a trap for michael, an experiment (how far will he go?) or something like that..

On the army thing... Jack's not stupid, he wouldn't put people in harms way, defensive gets my vote.

I think the others have probably around 50 people and they can walk through the forest so quietly could be their tactic...anyone have any thoughts?

since when did the commadore 64 have msn messenger? LMAO.. didn't know computers could chat like that.. back in the DOS age

And all on the same prompt that they use to type in the code. Michael didn't even have to specify where he wanted his message to go, he just sat down and typed :laugh:

      Microsoft kills AI-powered history search feature in Edge by Usama Jawad In June 2025, Microsoft began rolling out AI-powered history search functionality with Edge 138. The idea was simple: allow customers to use natural language phrases and synonyms to find their desired history items rather than matching keywords exactly. Although the company had already rolled out this capability in a phased manner, it has now decided to cancel it. In an update on its Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft has announced that it has decided not to move forward with AI-powered history search. The company has not detailed the exact reasoning behind this move, but it has apologized to customers for the inconvenience. The move is rather interesting as it seemingly could have improved user productivity. Edge users wouldn't have to worry about typos or exact keywords, and just focus on what they were trying to locate in their browser history. Microsoft had also assured users that an on-device AI model would be leveraged for this functionality, and no data would be sent to the cloud. IT admins also had the ability to control its availability through the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy. When the feature began rolling out last year, many of our readers called it creepy, noting that they couldn't trust Microsoft to keep their data on their device. Others also questioned its usefulness, saying that it's simply a way for Microsoft to insert more AI bloat into its products. Although the Redmond tech giant had stated that it will be more mindful about surfacing Copilot features in Windows 11 apps, we later discussed how this is mostly a rebranding exercise rather than an actual axing of AI functionalities.       Not likely, of course, that we will see routine citizenship checks as they only involve compliance with existing federal voting laws already on the books for decades. This seems a non-issue entirely. Only fools would have the government rush headlong into an AI program few can understand or predict, or even debug...
