wow

that's very subtle! what would be the meaning of that?

Well theres a lot of weird things happening with Chalie and Eko in this episode

- Eko Marks Trees, that Charlie Burns

- Charlie saw the drug plane that Eko should have been on

- Eko tells him the baby needs to be baptised, so Charlie does it, in his crazy way

Also dont know if anyones noticed this, on the ABC website the only character from the tailies thats missing in the picture is Eko, is'nt he going to stay for too long? He's a pretty big character in it, why is he not in the picture when Libbie and Ana Lucia are?

Thanks Sane404 :D

People are still saying that Charlie burnt the trees that Eko marked.

This is not the case. Eko was kneeling in the charred area, but not because the trees he marked were burnt.

If you watch again, Eko is marking trees in the entrance to the jungle. There are trees all around, and he is putting 'X's on some of them. Also, the area where he's marking trees is directly behind some of the little huts that people have built.

The area that Charlie sets fire to is an open area, away from camp and before the treeline that is mostly brush with a few large bushes and/or small trees.

I definetly agree that Locke is acting very un=Lockeish, he also has started to really **** me off this season. I am much more a fan o' Jack. Its great now that Sawyer is all liked now so he is all softened up. Like other I was relatively dissapointed with this episode. Charlie was being super rediculous Locke was being a tool and hardly anything happened, but like somone said, not every show can be fantastically adrenalinesh.

The beechcraft is there to symbolise the drugs.

Anyway it's not a head on the power station it's part of the cranes in front. Trust me, this has been checked on HD.

There is a sign on the right of the power station which says "unreadable construction." This may appear in a later episode.

Yeah, it is a crane, assuming that's the part of the picture the person was referring to. It's not even close to looking like a head.

I'm not sure if they planted that sign or if that's actually on the real building. If they planted it, you would figure they'd make it more readable.

Well, the first thing didn't happen. Charlie burned some brush, not trees.

Charlie and Eko went to the drug plane together and Charlie had been there previously as well with Sayid. The plane was his temptation and like someone said it represented his battle with his addiction. It's almost as though he had to make a choice between saving the baby and his addiction.

And yes on the last thing. Charlie thought the baby was in danger and needed some way to save it. Eko interpreted Charlie's dream as being like the story of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus since there was a dove in his dream.

did anyone else get a bad vibe when clair asked locke about baptism and locke kind of shrugged it off as nothing really that important? it's almost as if he was trying to prevent charlie from getting clair to baptise the baby. not sure if it's anything but it just seemed to stand out to me.

I think Locke was trying to put across the point that you shouldn't just baptise a child because it's the norm. You should understand the reasons behind it first.

People can use Spoiler Tags whether they want to or not, how hard is it to put your cursor over the text?

:) I just find it tough to read and scroll because I usually click the scroll wheel and slide down...it's tough to read tags and do that at the same time.

I actually felt kind of sorry for Charlie this episode. Admittedly, what he was doing was stupid, but I think he was really honestly trying to help the baby and now a lot of people will not trust him/hate him. I guess what I'm saying is, if something seems real in your head... then to you, it IS real. And in Charlie's head, the baby really needed to be baptized, whether the baby actually does or not, who knows.

I also agree with a lot of people that Locke seems a lot different. He was more likeable when he was just the handy hunter guy. From his point of view I suppose I can see why he punched Charlie, but also, knowing the show, Charlie might be on to something. I don't think his hallucinations/sleep walking is drug related. I think he has been clean for a while now and never used any of the found heroin from the plane.

i think locke became so rash in this episode is because of charlie's premanitions of the baby being in danger, and charlie trying to take it.

i think this is the case because somehow the baby is important (aswell as the other child walt), and locke is possibly the danger to the baby that charlie dreams about, and that the baby means more to locke alive (i.e. he didnt understand that charlie meant well and would never intentionally hurt the baby).....

battersea power station was the iconic building....there was some text but without hdtv and very clear screen you couldnt make it out

What about the posters in the alleyway as

Charlie's brother leaves for Oz

? I see posters that read:

    • XBOX is at the end of its generational life cycle and wasn't selling much anyway. They need to figure out the pricing for XBOX Helios. However, I'm not buying the DRAM shortage with AI preferring HBM. I think it's industry gouging.
