you guys are imagining too many theories, Locke was normal in the episode, he was just mean with charlie because a baby is a very fragile thing and you can't move it around like a stone, and charlie was compromising the baby, needed a lesson to stay away for good

it's not like Locke is the bad one, a 'other' infiltrated or a mole or something, i find his behaviour perfectly normal and Lockeish..

What about the posters in the alleyway as

Charlie's brother leaves for Oz

? I see posters that read:

Lost Cat

<picture>

Missing For 3 Weeks

Please call

(something like) 020 7818 1118

Reward

If someone can get a HD cap of that I'll gladly call the number.

Personally I think the cat has orchistrated the whole thing. When they find the cat, they will find the answers to all their questions.

Er.... not.

Unfortunately the writing isn't all that readable, even on the HD cap.

About half a second after that cap there's one that looks like this (angle change)

http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/3031/sn...272244378ap.jpg

which gives a better view of the numbers.

the best I can get is http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/7738/untitled1copy3tl.jpg

thanks for the effort tho!

Ah, didn't realize the ripped off one was the same poster. I'll see how that one comes out.

Edit: Yep, that one comes out better.

But he is under someone's influence.. whenever he isn't doing what they want, they take away his ability to walk... and we know hes done quite a few things that the rest of the group think he shouldn't (blowing the hatch)

He was definitely not himself...and I guess his reaction kinda points to something more sinister. If he really was the Locke we know and love, he would have been interested in the meaning of these dreams.... and the fact that hes keeping the statutes makes me feel like hes going to use them as leverage.

is that guy drinking a mountain dew? the dude on the right side.

If so I'd love to know where he got it. They don't sell it over here anymore :( That phone number is also interesting, if I'm reading it right. It's EC2, definately not the Brixton area.

Apparently my sister told me she was watching Veronica Mars and a character opens a fortune cookie with some fortune and the lost numbers!!!

Anyone clarify that please?

EDIT Just found this link, mentions the fortune cookie part at the end of the first paragraph

god lost has taken over everything....why!!!!

As somebody has already pointed out.. charlie hearing "the whispers" was kinda disturbing! I mean, I don't think he was using... I think this may have something to do with the sickness

But I think that was purposely done, to add something good to a somewhat dull episode.

apparently in the lost podcast they mentioned that the one (?-some) of the posters on that wall mean something and we will find out later on....so even though it was slow and nothing really happened apparently there was something a little hidden that will mean something later....

Posters on which wall? The one Charlie and his brother passed? Or one in their room?

Edit: On the Drive Shaft "The Drive Across America Tour" poster in their room there's a car wreck on it. Possibly related to the car crash between Jack's wife and Boone and Shannon's father?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but I don't think Charlie was doing anything wrong. Locke is a complete hypocrite. What about when Locke had his dream of the plane and knew that it would kill Boone. In my eyes Charlie has the same urge as Locke did, but this time Charlie actually wants to save someone else, not like Locke who I think only thinks about his own gain.

I don't remember Locke knowing the plane would kill Boone. He thought something was inside it that would help him with the hatch. His legs went out as he approached the plane though and so Boone had to go up.

The podcast is referring to the sign on Battersea Power Station. Unfortunately it is unreadable but supposedly will appear in a later episode.

Wonder if it says something like Dharma Construction. Although I'm curious how Battersea Power Station ties in with the island.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
