Dangit...I thought February was supposed to be Sweeps month?...Are they really taking another huge break after this next week's episode?

Yeah, the 2 hour pilot is on a week from Wednesday, followed by a new one the week after, then I'm not sure.

Dangit, ABC sucks...I am glad Fox doesn't pull this crap with 24 and other shows...I think it loses more viewers than anything.

are you people new to TV....have you people never watched a weekly TV series...with the exception of a few shows (24 starting last season & half season shows) they have always done this....does it suck, yes....but why are people bitching like this is some new phenomenon...every single show does this...it happens...i just don't get why people are bitching about this @ every board i go to...people are bitching that they're losing interest, etc....why? i don't see you bitching about every other show on the planet doing the same thing....its TV....this is how it works...this is basically how its always worked....so wtf is up with all the bitching?

most shows start in August/September....they have 22-24 episodes...they need to make those last all the way into May....of course there's going to be breaks....

It was never believable to begin with... Locke was very much out of control of what was going on on the island, like how he got so angry over the drug plane because he thought that he was being shown how to open the hatch.. he's a tool of whatever is controlling the island, but not knowingly. If you look at it this way, finding the plane serves three purposes... to kill off boone, to contact the second group by radio and to find the drugs for charlie...one happened, the second didn't and the third point did happen but charlie didn't use them...thus the island trying to get rid of Boone makes the most sense (espiceally since they made him go up into the plane due to taking away Lockes ability to walk)

Actually the whole drug plane thing is seemingly just to make Locke look like a fool. Him getting Boone killed made him look like a fool, now Charlie getting revenge for Locke not trusting him. It's like Locke is losing the control he thought he had by trusting the island and everyone is turning on him.

yeh but its an other and they will probably want to know what he knows so sayid is the only one to get the info and dont forget he's annoyed after shannon died :(

The following is a synopsis / spoiler for ?One of Them?. If you don?t want to know what happens before the show airs then get the heck out of here. Unfortunately this was not as good as last weeks episode in my opinion but it seemed a little flat to me.

We start off in Iraq during Desert Storm. Sayid and some other Republican guards are destroying documents when U.S. troops come in and arrest them.

Too many flashbacks for me to keep track of so I?ll just give the story lines separately. To make a long story short Sayid is forced to torture/interrogate his commanding officer to obtain the whereabouts of a U.S. pilot who went down a few days earlier. He later gets released in the end. He basically blames the U.S. for turning him into a torturer.

The Losties start off with Anna running out of the jungle asking sayid where Jack is. Anna brings sayid into the jungle and shows her Danielle who is walking around with her rifle. Sayid says I?ll deal with this leave now and don?t tell anyone about this.

Danielle leads Sayid to a captured man who she believes is an Other. Sayid releases the man and Danielle shoots him in the back with her bow as he runs away. She convinces Sayid not to trust him until he is interrogated.

At the hatch Locke and Sayid talk as Jack mends his wounds. The man claims to be crossing the pacific with his wife in a hot air balloon when they crash landed 4 months ago. She got sick and died three weeks ago. Claims to be from Minnesota.

Sayid secretly asks Locke to change to combo to the armory so that he can interrogate the man without interference from Jack. Locke agrees to this. Sayid asks questions about the balloon and other things. He asked the man about his wife. How she died, where she was buried, how deep was the grave? The final question the man answered that he wasn?t sure. To this Sayid lost it having dug Shannon?s grave and placing her body in the ground. He insisted that the man would know exactly how deep and all those small details he starts to beat him.

Jack anxiously trying to get in to stop him as Locke is refuses to give the new combo. He says to Jack you started an army, why? They exchange some dialogue. Ultimately Jack puts Locke up against a wall and the timer goes off. Jack will let the timer run out if Locke doesn?t open the door.

Locke opens the door and lets Jack stop Sayid. Locke runs to the timer enters the numbers. Again he screws up he types 16 twice. Backs up continues to type He doesn?t make it in time the Alarms blaring and the clock flips like crazy you see flashes of red and black.

Then the forth one stops on a penguin (I think it was a penguin) the last stops at a red missile then the third on a different type of missile. The first two are still flipping and he hits the execute button then the clock resets to 108. This by far was the biggest jip in Lost series ever. But that was just my opinion.

We finish off with Sayid on the beach telling Charlie that he is certain that the man is one of them. Jack and Locke would never be able to understand how Sayid knows it. That?s where it ends. The only other thing that happened is Sawyer discovers Hurley eating from a secret stash of food he was hiding. Sawyer promised not to tell anyone if Hurley helps him capture some Tree Frog that was croaking and annoying Sawyer. Ultimately they find the frog and Sawyer Squashes it in his hand. ( I don?t get the point of this but)

I didn't read the spoiler above by laz45, but I wanted to post my conjecture on the clock running to 0. Maybe it's a dream like thing similar to the Hurley dream while he was in the hatch and Jin was talking in English but told Hurley that he was actually speaking in Korean. Maybe it doesn't really go to 0 afterall. Just an idea.

Actually, Fox is no different. They did it, either Season 3 or 4 with 24...I forget which season it was, but I remember being ****ed because of this. :laugh: Anywho, I'm looking forward to tonight's show!

Man, this show is really letting me down this season...I was hoping this would be a great episode.

      A different thing with Russia. When you say is it better, depends on things. It is better that we don't have the E.U making rules and laws that have nothing to do with them. Is the trading part better? No, that is really mucked up, but then we knew that was going to happen and we would have make agreements, like we do with other parts of the world. Freedom of movement is certainly better, but could be improved, we still need more control over our borders. do you live in the U.K?

      So what am I quoting from them? I never listened to what Farage or his cronies said. I wanted the U.K to leave the E.u years before the referendum and it had nothing to do with Farage and his cronies. So what country do you live in? Did we work much better together? We were always at logger heads with the E.U because we disagreed with them so much. Maggie was always on at them. I would have thought the E.U was glad to get rid of us as we stopped the integration or made it a two tier. Now without us they can integrate more. I would not have voted out if it was just a trading block and we can still work together on somethings.

      Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies.
