got this from another forum...actually makes sense as to why there was a lock down....

I still think the hatch is a psychological research facility of some sort. The research would clearly be about isolation and manipulation, i.e. what it takes to get people to push the button all the time. My hunch is that the original procedures for the hatch were that they would lock the "crew" into the hatch while they're doing a food drop, so that they could replenish supplies while ensuring that the crew avoids contact with the outside world. Works better with a crew of 2 than 40-something.

I'm actually thinking the lockdown was an error in the system now. When Locke's on the bicycle, it says "20 minutes to lockdown." and then when he fiddles with it, it says "10 minutes to lockdown". And then a little bit later it counts down from 10 seconds.

Anyone notice the playing cards had a Swan on them?

I'm not sure it's been talked about yet but it looks as if the girl at the house Locke is inspecting is Nadia, Sayid's long lost girl?

She's like, "If I had a husband I am sure he would be happy to hear that"

Yep, that is most definitely Nadia.

HOLY CRAP!!! I can't even believe that I missed that. Good eye!

OK, I'm thinking that the lockdown happened because of the food drop. For some reason, I think the hatch goes into lockdown whenever there is a food drop. I think the speaker was an automatic warning that the hatch was about to be locked down. Unfortunately, something was wrong with the wiring maybe, and Locke couldn't understand the message.

Oh, and "Henry Gale" didn't fool me for a minute.

The countdown happened way too fast. It went from 20 minutes to "10 minutes to lockdown" and after the flashback it said something completed (almost sounded like "phase complete") and then did a countdown from 10 seconds and locked the doors.

I got an GREAT HYPOTHESIS! Thought up all by myself!

PERHAPS...the food drop was done because the timer went all the way down. I think that if it goes down, Dharma assumes that whoever was pushing the button in the hatch either died or got out. They drop the food so that whoever is the new person in the hatch (either one of the Others or whoever is assigned to go down there) will have plenty to eat. I think that because the timer cycled through, they assumed that no one was in there anymore (atleast not alive). As for the lockdown...I cannot really explain it...perhaps the 'mysterious' island was doing it knowing what would happen to Locke so it could re-handicap him.

Well, I don't know how they would get the food there so fast after the timer cycled. I mean they're thousands of miles from any place. This had to be a planned drop.

well, we really don't know for sure where they are...but the food got there somehow...

BTW...wasn't the food also on a parachute?...I am not so convinced that it was plane dropped, because someone should have heard/saw it if it had been. Perhaps it was sent via remote control from another side of the island by the Dharma guys. Who knows what all else is on the island. I mean, these guys could have a small airport and fleet of boats for all we know.

Well, we know they were off course a lot from where they should have been (pilot said a thousand or so).

Yeah, it was on a parachute. Via remote control? How? You'd still have to have something pretty sizeable to make a drop of that much food and supplies. We know they have one boat, we can't be sure of a fleet and an airport though.

why would the henry gail imposter draw a map to the parachute site if he knew that good guys would most likely dig up the body to inspect? that wasn't very smart.

my only guess is that he (they) didn't expect anyone to actually dig it up...maybe he hoped they would just see the grave and assume...i was shocked that they (the others) were smart enough to make up this whole story yet they didn't expect someone to check the grave?

I wonder why "Henry" left the drivers license on the REAL Henry Gale. It was almost like "Henry" tested the group to see if they could find it...

it looks like he just didn't expect them to actually dig up the grave of his "wife"

its not like the license was just sitting around...it was buried with the guy....even if it wouldn't have been if they had found the body they would have known it was a man....and if it had somehow decomposed too far when they came back they would have told Jack and he would have wanted to see it most likely...and being a doctor by looking at the pelvic bone he would have known it was a man not a woman...

i just think they didn't actually think anyone would dig up the grave...if they did they would of at least put a woman one would assume...

anyone can compare screenshots of nadia in previous episodes in afghanistan and the girl with teh house in lockdown?

and the promos, hurley, the extra man (perhaps he is dave, not the man in the hatch), the fate of the man in the hatch, the raid to the food drop, so many possibilies

and the three week gap between SOS episode and two for the road

Umm, how did you guys miss this? The guy in the hatch is not Dave...

Yeah, I think Dave is probably someone inside the institution Hurley was in. Hmm, what was Leonard's friends name? It wasn't Dave, was it?

Hmm, the lockbox number was 1516 and Henry's address was 815...seems the numbers are turning up everywhere :shifty:

Odd question.

I thought Locke couldn't feel pain in his legs?

Yet when the door fell on him, he clearly was in a ton of pain, especially afterwards when he was trying to walk.

    • Interesting share -- however it does not make sense: Email messages get stored somewhere, so how is Delta Chat "based on email" and decentralized without actually storing anything? By Web3 standard practices, the various Relays would require dedicated storage to make messages available to the recipients (like a large series of message queue channels, akin to racks of traditional post office boxes)... and Contacts must be two-way confirmed in order for encryption keys to be exchanged (ostensibly every key-pair is uniquely bound between sender and recipient) and the Relays would preserve the public keys in order to facilitate message carriage... or every device stores all sorts of keys and contact info. All of this to say, decentralized messaging is like running Bluesky nodes except instead of discovering/browsing public feeds by various posters (at the given node) these Delta Chats would be relaying encrypted messages (via Relays) that only trusted recipients would have the appropriate decryption key (their own private key) to read it. But this doesn't solve the "it's like email" sales pitch. The only way it's like email is that there's encrypted binary stuff being transported from your app into the federated ether of Delta Chat Relays for others to decrypt (hopefully only the intended recipient)... but outside of this federated relays framework, it is absolutely nothing like email.
    • Hasleo Backup Suite Free 5.8.2.2 by Razvan Serea Hasleo Backup Suite Free is a free Windows backup and restore software, which embeds backup, restore and cloning features, it is designed for Windows operating system users and can be used on both Windows PCs and Servers. The backup and restore feature of Hasleo Backup Suite can help you back up and restore the Windows operating systems, disks, partitions and files (folders) to protect the security of your Windows operating system and personal data. The cloning feature of Hasleo Backup Suite can help you migrate Windows to another disk, or easily upgrade a disk to an SSD or a larger capacity disk. System Backup & Restore / Disk/Partition Backup & Restore Backup Windows operating system and boot-related partitions, including user settings, drivers and applications installed in these partitions, which ensures that you can quickly restore your Windows operating system once it crashes. Viruses, power failure, or other unknown reasons may cause data loss, so it is a good habit to regularly back up the drive that stores important files, you can at least recover lost files from the backup image files in the event of a disaster. System Clone / Disk Clone / Partition Clone Migrate the Windows operating system from one disk to another SSD or larger disk without reinstalling Windows, applications and drivers. Clone entire disk to another disk and ensure that the contents of the source disk and the destination disk are exactly the same. Clone a partition completely to the specified location on the current disk or another disk and ensure that the data will not be changed. File Backup & Restore Back up specified files(folders) instead of the entire drive to another location to protect your data, so you can quickly restore files(folders) from the backup image files when needed. Incremental/Differential/Full Backup Different backup modes are supported, you can flexibly choose data protection schemes, which can improve backup performance and save storage space while ensuring data security. Delta Restore Delta restore uses advanced delta detection technology to check the changed blocks on the destination drive and restore only the changed blocks, so it has a faster restore speed than the traditional full restore. Universal Restore This feature can help us restore the Windows operating system to computers with different hardware and ensure that Windows can work normally without any hardware compatibility issues. Hasleo Backup Suite 5.8.2.2 changelog: Improved creation of bootable media that supports the UEFI CA 2023 certificate Fixed an issue that caused system restore to fail Fixed an issue where file backup could not list drives under Windows ARM64 Fixed an issue that caused backup of MacOS files/folders shared via Samba to fail Fixed an issue that caused "Smart Backup" to not work properly Fixed other minor bugs Download: Hasleo Backup Suite 5.8.2.2 | 39.7 MB (Freeware) Links: Hasleo Backup Suite Website | Hasleo Backup Suite Guide | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware

    • I looked into a few echo devices to find they were riddled with adverts over time. No thanks ill stick to my homeassistant, smart plugs, smart bulbs and cameras that don't cost me a monthly fee and are cheaper to buy. No adverts also.
