The Monster still Fascinate me!!!

When that Podcast said we may already seen what's it really, I have been thinking hard, but NO answers! :(

The bird calling Hurley's name???

Seems to be a wisp of black smoke

Appears to be different things to different people

Has been referred to as a defense system for the island (by Rousseau)

It?s quite tall (towered over Locke; snatched pilot from the cockpit)

Can shake many trees in the jungle at once

Said to sound like an animal (according to a character claiming to be from ?The Bronx?)

While attempting to pull Locke underground there was a distinct, mechanical cranking sound

When confronting Mr. Eko, flashes appeared within the black smoke containing imagery of Mr. Eko?s past (his brother, a crucifix, a woman, etc.).

What did we MISS???

duh.... it was walt mumbling... it was the white horse.... jack's dad?/// ringing any bells?

any one been on hanso site, the electromag section, if you set the co-ordinates to 629 291 or what, ever date says...direct center of the weird graph.....compass comes up....if you click that it takes you to that big compass..108 deg ect

Have a look over at 4815162342.com, theres a thread in the ARG forum that explains everything thats been found on the site thus far.

Guys, WTF, I really do mean WTF was that snowman thing about???????

Calvin was expecting someone. He asked Des that question, and Des didn't know the answer.

Des asked John that question and John knew the answer.

John is 'the one' that the Island has been waiting for. He was the one that Calvin wanted to meet. John is a lot more important than we have seen thus far.

John didn't know the answer. Remember, one of the first things he asked Desmond after he came back to the island was what the answer to that question was. And to go back further, John admitted that he didn't know the answer way back when Desmond first asked the question earlier in the season while Locke was pretending to be "the guy". I've been wondering who they expected to come to the hatch since the beginning of the second season.

I'm heading over to 4815162342.com.... :)

Edit: Fixed some typos and added the part about the first time Desmond asked

The 'Monster' or whatever manifests in different ways to the Losties. Jack sees it as his Dad, Kate the horse, possibly Hurley and the Dave guy, etc...

NO!

That seems true, but don't forget there IS a monster killed the plane pilot and bringing down trees that EVERYBODY felt the same way about.

Plus, Losties all heard Monster making sounds/noises in the forest they ALL heard it.

And, Locke pulled into the ground by some machine.

Unless, the writers just put it there to be cool, and they write aimlessly.

Argh, A mod please FIX the Scrolling!!!

Or let's post Quickly so we get to NEXT page!

why in the **** do people keep calling him Calvin?

is it really that hard to say/spell Kelvin?

and John didn't know the answer until Desmond told him back when they first met...them saying it this time was kind of like an inside joke between the 2 of them....

That big picture is interesting though...

They have Houses on the island??

It is filmed in Hawaii, so I am not surprised there are houses there. Would be pretty hard to find a decent size island (for this shows purposes) anywhere without some type of human presence.

Thank computers for making it look like there is no one living there :)

What snowman ?

I WAS talking about in the show, but read my following response, they REMOVED it.

What snowman ?

The researcher at the end.

THE MUSIC -

You can tell a lot by the music.

I've noticed the Music when the others are talking to Michael and the gang.

It has this Pounding beat, and I thought that was interesting.

Especially after Michael said "That's it, following the bearing and rescued?" The Pounding beat was SO loud it sounded like someone locked in... Hmmmm.

Also has that beat when Michael & Walt are leaving.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
