shannon was the hottest on the island then kate then AL then sun then the rest are mingers.

i think the others are dharma because they had a dharma logo on the door and didnt the dude on jimmy kimmel say that hanso had shut down dharma.

is henry the leader of the others? also im sure he had dharma tatooo on the back of his neck from a screenshot from his first episode, thus adding to my above theory.

edit: just happened to be watching old school and john locke(terry o quinn) plays elisha cuthberts father. never noticed that before.

Err, if Henry had that tattoo on his neck, why did they spend so many episodes interrogating him to find out if he was an other?

I was watching Spiderman 2 just this evening. In the scene where Octavius first demostrates his energy thing-a-ma-bob, there is a scientist there helping. He says a line or two and that's the extent of his role - the actor is the same guy that plays Jin (can't think of his name).

Daniel Dae Kim (aka Jin) has been on a lot of TV shows and movies. He has shown up on 24, The Shield, CSI, NYPD Blue, Crash, etc. ;)

Yep. He's been in a LOT of stuff. Including Star Trek Voyager. And Enterprise. Here's a shot of him on Voy:

...may i suggest you take some basic english lessons instead of wasting time watching season 3?

For amusement watch CSI. I've lost count of the number of Lost actors who've cropped up in it:

Jin, Kate, Ethan, Sawyer, Bernard to name just a few.

Guys, Guys, Guys.....

LOST is a great show, but it's attempts at internationalization are TERRIBLE.

24: really good portrayal of other languages and cultures (Arabs, Muslims, Desis, and Mexicans). Good foreign language skills.

Lost: TERRIBLE foreign skills.

1) Sayid is Naveed Andrews, a Desi, not an Iraqi. He speaks *terrible* Arabic, and the other actors are even worse than he is. But he is a good actor so we can forgive that :p

2) Him praying: that totally portrayed Islam wrong, no one gets up from prostration because some guy is calling.

3) They make him out to be religious, but he had a hard-on for Shannon, which, if he was indeed religious, would never have happened.

4) The snowmen? I mean, really, they couldn't find a single native portugese OR brazillian to play that role?

Don't even get me started on their representation of what should have been MCTC Colchester.

Seems like there are so many hardcore fans that couldnt resist and they build their own houses there in Hawaii, to get at the 1st hand whats going on with the series. :shifty: :p

Like we don't have houses here in Hawaii? I suppose I'm typing this on my coconut computer! :D nah, I know you're kidding.

Anyway, the picture looks like it could be on the east short, like between late Kahalu'u area to passed Ka'a'awa area, but I could be wrong - that doesn't seem like the Ko'olau mountains in the background.

The area with the huts and fake hatch was filmed around Makapu'u area on the south-eastern shore near Sea Life Park.

Wish I could catch them fliming sometime.

I read somewhere that "Sawyer" not the Sawyer on the island his father the person he wanted to kill but killed the wrong person, someone rumoured that maybe Locke's "dad" is saywer as he is a con artist conning those italian people out of that 700,000 dollars. Also they said maybe Locke's dad and helen pulled a long con on Locke and both ran off with the money.

Don't know if it is true but it's interesting to think about.

Just noticed something in the Repeat!

Hurley said his house/farm got hit by Meteors...

When has that happened on this planet last 30 years?

So the show was either, totally unreleated to earth history or Hurley's imagination

Also, Kate just said "Live together, Die alone"... the Season Finale Title!

    • Edifier S3000MKII hi-fi audiophile grade bookshelf speaker is at its lowest price now by Sayan Sen Yesterday we covered a bunch of Dolby Atmos soundbar deals with several ones from Sony, as well as from JBL, Samsung, Polk Audio, and more. You can check them out in this dedicated piece. Those are not audiophile category speakers though as they are built with home theater use in mind. If you are searching for the former then Edifier has its S3000MKII at its lowest price at the moment (purchase link under the specs table down below). This is a two-way bookshelf monitor speaker designed to produce accurate sound. While it may not produce the best high-fidelity audio possible out there, it should still be significantly better than what you will get on soundbars of this price range. As such it will do justice to high-res audio played back through it. The only thing that may feel lacking is sub-bass as Edifier claims the unit can go down to 38 Hz, which should be enough for studio monitor purposes, but not for deep room-shaking rumbling bass. Where this does excel though is in its treble reproduction. With its super-tweeter, it claims to go as high as 40 kHz in the frequency spectrum, which should offer a sense of "air"yness. This is an active speaker which means it packs its own amplfication. It has a top-notch Class D amp that may be able to rival many Class AB designs too in terms of sound reproduction quality. The technical specs of the Edifier S3000MKII are given in the table below: Specification Value RMS Output Power 256W RMS (Treble: 8W × 2, Mid-Low: 120W × 2) Tweeter Driver 107mm × 107mm Planar Magnetic Tweeter Mid-Low Driver 6.5-inch (179mm) Long-Throw Aluminum Diaphragm Driver Frequency Response 38Hz – 40kHz Signal-to-Noise Ratio ≥ 85dB (A) Bluetooth Version Bluetooth 5.0 Bluetooth Codec Qualcomm® aptX™ HD Wireless Speaker Link Proprietary 5.8GHz wireless connection between speakers Supported Hi-Res Audio Hi-Res Audio Certified, up to 24-bit/192kHz Digital Processing XMOS XU216 Digital Signal Processor Audio Inputs Balanced XLR, Optical, Coaxial, USB Type-B, Line In, Bluetooth Input Sensitivity (USB) 400 ± 50mFFs Input Sensitivity (Optical) 400 ± 50mFFs Input Sensitivity (Coaxial) 400 ± 50mFFs Input Sensitivity (Bluetooth) 450 ± 50mFFs Input Sensitivity (Balanced XLR) 1000 ± 50mV Input Sensitivity (Line In) 600 ± 50mV ADC Capability Up to 24-bit/192kHz DSP Capability Up to 24-bit/192kHz DIX Capability Up to 24-bit/216kHz DAC Capability Up to 32-bit/384kHz XMOS Processing Power Up to 2,000 MIPS Edifier S3000MKII Audiophile Active (Powered) Wireless Speakers: $799.99 (Sold by Edifier US, Shipped by Amazon US) If you do not have the kind of budget to spend on the S3000MKII, you can also check out the Edifier R1280Ts which is right now on sale at just $114 (its lowest price in a very long time).
