Just noticed something in the Repeat!

Hurley said his house/farm got hit by Meteors...

When has that happened on this planet last 30 years?

So the show was either, totally unreleated to earth history or Hurley's imagination

Also, Kate just said "Live together, Die alone"... the Season Finale Title!

What? Meteors hit all of the time. Most are in the ocean, or in uninhabited land, but still.

spoilers:

Spoiler 111: Summary of spoilers given by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: Next season, we will understand the real ramifications of Desmond activating the failsafe and what that did. The central issue of season three will be what did happen. It sounds like Desmond's coming back. They said they want him back, we want to know why he was in prison, we want to know what happened when he turned that key that affected the entire island. That will become very important. The island was visible but only for an instant. It was also visible for an instant on 9/22/04 when the plane crashed. The foot statue represents the history and archeology of the island. Season three will explore what happened on the island before Dharma arrived in the late 70's and who was there. The smoke monster will definitely be back in Season three. There is a good chance we saw the monster this year and didn't realize we were looking at it. By the end of next year we will realize what it was and when we saw it. Why did the Others take Jack, Kate and Sawyer? Where is their home? That will be the story told over the first six episodes. Season 3 will also be about the main characters and their relationships. They want to service the relationships next year more than the mythology. How Locke got in the wheelchair, how Jack got his tattoos will be revealed in Season three. Source: Lost Podcast

is it just me, or does reading long spoilers in those black tags REALLY hurt your eyes? lol

season 3 sounds amazing :D

I personally want Desmond to remain for purely selfish, fantastical reasons of my own. :)

Though--I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY starting to dislike 90% of the characters.

And I wonder why nearly all of the people on this show are so fanatical. I know they fell out of a plane from the sky, but goodness!

Eko changes his mind like a dirty baby napkin.

Charlie is obsessive with any and everything.

Locke seems to think that everything is a sign, but then he changes his mind....but MAYBE...what?!

And Michael--if I get started on Michael, goodness, I'll be here all night.

I'm hoping there is more follow through in season 3. Most of the episodes I didn't even bother to watch the nights they aired, I got them from recordings of a friend. Desmond's love interest seemed pale and unimportant, to me, btw...did anyone else sense this?

Oh, another thing that was strange is how charlie was so absolutley fine. Three of his "friends" just died and he's like "hey babes, wack me a big fat one on the lips". He does behave strange but thats something even a strange person would take heavier than that. So, isn't it likely that no one died?

Although, why wouldn't he explain that... also...?!!!

How do you know they're dead?

How do you know they're dead?

Good question. I think it is very likely that none of them died. The Executive Producers have said that they want to know how Desmond ended up in prison and how Locke got in the wheelchair. It would horrible if we had to learn something like that through someone else's flashback. But who knows what the writers have up their sleeves? This show really isn't predictable and it could go in any direction and still make a great story.

Here's a couple of questions I would like to see answered in Season Three (if you have yet to see Season Two, don't read them): How did Locke get in the wheelchair? How did Jake get his tattoos? What happened to Michael and Walt? Will they get rescued? What happens to Hurley? Does he make it back to his camp and if so, what will he tell the other survivors? What was that look Jake and Kate were giving each other at the end? Will Sayid help them the captured survivors?

We don't know. But thats not the point he is getting at. From what we saw, they could be dead or injured and charlie is going along as if nothing happened.

Charlie may not know what happened. Mr. Eko pushed him out of the way and we see Charlie running out of the way of a washer and drier trying to move towards the wall with the big magnet behind it.

Yeah, really...why not change it to normal colors when moused over?

or why not just highlight the whole thing?

when i do that the text turns black and sticks out no matter where the mouse is....

I have a thought about the monster. In the episode "What Kate Did?" we see the black horse that we saw in Kate's flashback. We know that the horse was seen by Sawyer, but the horse has never been explained. I think that the horse could have been the "smoke monster" that seems to have disappeared from the second half of the season.

What do you'll think?

Nice theory! Of course, as soon as I open my yapper, someone's gonna shut me down. :(

    • This piece of ###### is probably one of the most hated apps that ever existed.
    • Microsoft is bringing a much-needed Recap app to Teams, here is a first look by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is heavily used in work and school environments, and perhaps one of its core but extremely useful features is the ability to record meetings. In past years, Microsoft has further improved upon this functionality by integrating AI, but you do need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to leverage most, if not all, all of those capabilities. Now, the Redmond tech firm is making another significant enhancement in the area of Teams meeting recordings. Up until now, if you wanted to access Teams recordings, you had to arduously locate the meeting invite and navigate to the dedicated tab, or go to the cloud storage location such as a SharePoint site. This was a rather overwhelming activity, especially if you don't remember the name of the meeting or the meeting occurred quite a while ago. Microsoft is now attempting to solve this problem through a dedicated Recap app that consolidates all your recordings. This centralized experience will allow users to find all recordings from the past 30 days and also offer access to other related services such as transcripts and AI-powered summaries. Customers will have the option to search for recordings, filter them, and review multiple meetings by generating AI-powered podcast-style recaps. The Recap app will list all available recordings in both thumbnail and list views. The former is shown below: And here is how Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can select multiple recordings to generate a podcast-style audio recap: Microsoft has emphasized that the Recap app is pre-installed in Teams but it will not be pinned by default. Users will able to navigate to the Teams app store from the left rail, and pin it from the apps section. It will be enabled by default for all users once it becomes available. It's worth noting that while Teams recordings and transcripts can be accessed by all users governed by existing permissions, AI-powered features like intelligent summaries, audio recaps, and video recaps will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. The Recap app will be generally available to Teams users on Windows, Mac, and the web by the end of next month, with mobile support coming soon.
