Sure,.. but the Fonts Folder and the Printers Folder are already there. :turned:

Here's the new Control Panel. :D

It contains a lot of commands (27), when you want to remove some commands, just edit "Add Control Panel.reg".

Example:

To remove the "Infrared Monitor" command, remove the whole key:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000000-5006-0000-0000-000000000002}\Shell\11]
@="&Infrared Monitor"
"SuppressionPolicy"=dword:4000003c

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000000-5006-0000-0000-000000000002}\Shell\11\Command]
@="Control.exe Infrared"

\Example

Now import "Remove Control Panel.reg" and then import "Add Control Panel.reg" (this is also needed when you used the previous Control Panel).

Uhmm,.. it has the "Jump to File" command  , check Post #1 (Second Screenshot).  :p

Here's one for Neowin!

Some more information about the programs on my Taskbar and Systray (got a lot of questions about them):

I use Winamp Deskband (the Media Buttons) and Longhorn Systray Clock (LClock).

They are both free and great programs!

Winamp Deskband is a toolbar docked to the Taskbar that is fully configurable and fully skinnable. It comes with a built-in sleeptimer and playlist resumer. It also supports system-wide hotkeys for almost everything. Furthermore, it supports multiple languages and it allows you to play your bookmarked files without clearing your playlist. It can be used to control Winamp 2.x, 3.0, 5.x and Windows Media Player.

LClock is a very simple program that makes the Windows' clock look like a Windows Longhorn Clock.

It also comes with a simple popup calendar with reminder feature.

For more information, check the links below the Screenshots in Post #1.

Here's one for Media Player Classic.

To make the commands work you have to copy "Media Player Classic" to "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player" and rename it to "mplayerc.exe".

The Test Audio and Test Video commands only work in Windows XP. (they use the Windows Welkome Music and Intro Video)

If you don't use Windows XP use the "Add Media Player Classic -Test.reg".

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
