Roger H. Veteran Posted October 7, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 7, 2001 Hey.. does this seem normal? I'm on a cable line and i wanted to test my internet connection. I used the one on NeoWin.net to test my connection. I got some rather surprising numbers and you guys should do it too and post back here your scores! Check the attachment for the screenshot. Arpit
I got the same result...and it didn't seem like it actually tested the speed...if you actually wanna test your speed, go to www.dslreports.com
Steven P. Administrators Posted October 7, 2001 Administrators Share Posted October 7, 2001 Yeah its just an additional service we supply, I tried to take it down about 2 months ago but got complaints, so I put it up again. Must be a "feel good" thingy :D

aco Veteran Posted October 8, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 8, 2001 Speed testing :D It is great when you have a shitfast connection... ...but just plain depressing when you have dial-up or slow cable (like me :() http://www.tcpiq.com/tcpiq/linespeed/linespeed.asp I use TCPIQ whenever I get my cable uncapped *just to check if it has been uncapped* and then I do a months worth of downloading in one night :)
