Here's what digitalis who is the creator(or ripper)of this VS said:

I dont know why you are giving me a hard time, I understand some part of my theme look like the ported brushed by hills, The reason they may resemble each other in some way is they are direct port of the original Max theme by Max Rudberg. I didnt feel i need to ask hills for permission because he wasnt the original creater of brushed. But if i am wront i will be happy to remove the theme till permission is granted.

Well, since I do not have a Mac, I spent so much time and effort to finish this port. You slighted my efforts.

So it is obvious that digitalis used Hill's work as a base, then why is it not a rip?

Even though the original author of this theme is Max Rudberg, I think porting and making a VS for Windows is a important work too.

Oh, and those who want it so badly, go to 7th page of this thread and there you will see the mirror by someone else.

anyone else getting text cut of in windows?

if i take a look at the folder items thing its pretty clear that its cutting off text ... particularly in the offline files tab.

how do i fix this?

can't say it strikes me as a rip really. if he did, in fact, just edit hills' port then it would be but only on the basis of coding work and not artistic talent (which is no slighter or graver offense really). sadly, there isn't really a way to prove this kind of ripping i don't think.
