Weird Folders

Recommended Posts

I have a secondary partition i've been using to store music, pics, docs, iso's, etc. for over 3 years. ive started to run out of space and so ive been looking into ways of freeing up some. i connected to the partition through ftp and ive found a system volume information folder full of crap. what is this stuff and how can i delete it? if i have a second partition for only storing files, should the files i place there be the only ones there? even office 2003 places a msocache folder in there even after i tell it to delete any cache it placed there. hmph

Mmm, its definitely used for system restore - if you don't use it, then I'd be tempted to delete the folder if its taking much space.

Above link seems to agree ... go on, delete it!
