View Source Problem

Question

Guess I could find this if I really tried but I thought that if anybody else had the problem they would be able to find the solution from my post.

I am using IE 6 build 2462 and when I try and view the source of a page I get an error that the .txt file is not found and it asks if I want to create one. I pressed yes and all I see now when I want to view the source is a blank text document. What gives?

If anyone can help me on this please let me know the answer. It is bugging me why this happened.

Thanks,

Wayne.

    • Microsoft delays New Windows Outlook feature that let's you use Calendar without internet by Sayan Sen Earlier this week, Microsoft made a major update regarding support for Office 365 apps on Windows 10. The company decided against the simultaneous ending of support for Microsoft 365 (M365) apps alongside that of Windows 10. This is a commendable move from Microsoft considering that the company wants as many users as it can to move on from Windows 10 and the classic Outlook app on to Windows 11 and the New Outlook. In fact, Microsoft recently published a detailed post explaining how the new application is actually much better than dislikers and detesters may feel. It highlighted the performance benefits and other upgrades, including some features you have never seen on the classic app. The blog post drew attention to several different recent additions to the new app like offline support, PST features (a whole bunch of them in fact) and more. Speaking of offline features, Microsoft had announced back in May earlier this year that it was adding support for some Calendar features such that they would work without an active internet connection. The company revealed it via a M365 roadmap entry and here's how it described the new feature: Initially, the company wanted to begin rolling the feature out last month (June 2025), however, Microsoft has missed the mark and thus the company has a new release date for the same. It writes: "Rollout will begin in mid-August 2025 and is expected to complete by mid-September 2025." Those who have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center dashboard will be able to view this message under ID MC1101906. To be fair to Microsoft, a little bit of delay is not such a bad idea. If you recall, the classic Outlook almost broke in half when a big Shared Calendar feature upgrade was injected into that app. And Microsoft is already learning it seems as the company has also delayed another feature Office feature wherein a performance boosting option has now been improved significantly following a delay.
