Do games cause violence?

Recommended Posts

games do portray violence but no more than any movie that kids have access to. So just blaming the games for the kiddie violence in the world is just stupid. Especialy when the new games are taking responsibility and stamping proper age rating on games like it contains blood and gore, for 18+ etc.

I am not saying that i condone mindless game violence (like postal 2 that has the player ****ing on people). That is just senseless

Yes when they re-shelf the game with the violence, sex, drugs, and rapes cut out of it and im the poor stooge who buys it at that moment, which makes me want to go back to the shop and ram the box down the guys throat and let him choke on it for taking my money without placing a warning on it saying "The new and improved kiddie version for ages 5 - 10 Years Old".

Games - No :)

Censored Games - Yes

Parents with bad genes who have given birth to a psyhco (which is the real reason behind wack kids going out on a shooting, raping spree) - No, just makes me laugh, don't have kids Fools realise your sperm is dangerous and your whole family time line were psyhcotics and were gifted with a bad gene pool

everybody THINKS about going nuts and killing people. It's just the way we are.

But it's only the people that have inherited, or conditioned to, violence that SOMETIMES go ahead with it.

That said... I don't think that games CAUSE violence. It was around long before games came about. (see: history).
