acidic-e-
I still run the old 2.03 drivers since they are the best (for me) Never had 1 issue with them at all the rest were just junk  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/231687-nvidia-nforce-ide-drivers/page/2/#findComment-584754891 Share on other sites
Homer
If I use the drivers on my CD my burner ****s up and refuses to work full stop when burning. I'm currently on the 4.xx's I think, might upgrade this week. RadishTM Veteran Posted October 17, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted October 17, 2004 NFSU has a noticable peak in gaming, apps are quicker to respond at startup. The Nvidia drivers come with an uninstaller for every set of drivers, so I can uninstall only the IDE drivers and leave everything else alone. Also make a restore point just to be on the safe side. -=SD=-
I'm just going to wait for the next pack, to just install all the drivers at once to see how that goes.. dreamz Veteran Posted October 18, 2004 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2004 I'm just going to wait for the next pack, to just install all the drivers at once to see how that goes..Thanks for the updates Radish 584756923 that's also my plan, but i feel like installing chipset drivers over a system with previously installed ones (even if they were uninstalled first) makes for a "dirtier" system. :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/231687-nvidia-nforce-ide-drivers/page/2/#findComment-584757077 Share on other sites
RadishTM Veteran Posted October 18, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2004 I'm just going to wait for the next pack, to just install all the drivers at once to see how that goes..Thanks for the updates Radish 584756923 Well I installed all of the set, apart from the IDE and Audio (since I have a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Digital). Saw how it went along, then installed the IDE drivers. I wouldn't do it all at once, the installer gives you options to install what you want. Radish?
