take a look at whats going on man...

look at the domain... hell, even whois the domain (then whois other microsoft domaisn you can think of)

its just not right :)

Microsoft or not, you'll get spammed ;) They're not gonna use it for just one single alert if you ask me.

well you can see why it looks fake, imagine-msn.com isn't owned by Microsoft.

Though the site is linked from messenger.msn.com

From the thousands of Microsoft domains, some are registered by hired marketing people from around the world. And then again, it's not so hard for any of us to put official MS addresses as your whois information.
