All these "pimped" out Civics and Eclipeses, are just like putting ground effects on a Cavalier, or an Escort. No wonder Mustang enthusiasts hate imports, they have little 16 year olds in 4bangers thinking they can out race them..Ha! You can make an eclipse so insanely fast its not even funny. They're probably the best i-4s to build up. No car is great stock, either. You have to build a Skyline as well, so don't think they're unstoppable. They also have next to no emission controls. The only good supra is the TT and it is still extremely heavy. Back on topic: definately the Z, looks better and has a faster 0-60 to boot. But both cars are a waste. They have so much power, but for what? Sub-6-second 0-60? If you have the money, go for the 2005 Lotus Elise: 190hp and 0-60 in 4.7. And the good thing about the Elise is that you'll be the only one with one. The G35 I think has a back seat and slightly different interior. I like the looks of the G35 but haven't compared them as far as value. I'm sure the Nissan is less expensive. If I had the money and was needing a new car I'd be looking at the 350Z. It seems to have good power vs daily driver economy and apparently awesome handling. I would like to know if it rides smooth or harsh. I'd get black on black with a manual six speed. :) Is there really a full second on their ET's??? Hard to believe unless your comparing the 4 door G35. They weigh the same and exactly the same specs except one is rated as having 1 more hp while the other is 1 more tq. G35 2dr RWD 14.6 G35 (sedan)AWD which i think is badged G35x does 14.7. i might be mixing them up, but who gives a ****! but im never a hater on cars, but im very vocal about **** like this. the G35 isnt really something to brag about until they throw in that car a 400hp V8... not going to lie it has style points, but performance it is ok, but dies down top end, same with the 350z, i raced a 350 it blasted me off the line, but i caught up to that mofo, i was about 2 cars behind him and creaping up to his rear bumper. and granted my car is 3800 pounds, but i got the motor to catch people. but this is beside the point. you want a sports car, buy a corvette, or a viper. sorry but that is how i feel.
