mattmatik
I just heard on ESPNews that the Heat-Bobcats game was free to students who were doing good in school. The game...started in the morning local time - when kids should be in school. At least they were given workbooks to do during timeouts. :D

JohnMarsten
I don't get it, Charlotte Hornets leave town, only to be replaced less than 5 years later with a new expansion Charlotte team ...

He wanted a new arena and some other things and they refused. So he up and moved to New Orleans. One thing is for sure, when the Hornets were an expansion team, they had alot more going for it. They had the draft picks (Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson) and the NBA was alot different then. The Bobcats are horrible and will be so for a long time.
