Redmak Administrators Posted April 22, 2002 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2002 I must say I like the new mozilla. It's very fast and it has tabs. But how can I make it so that any link opens in a new tab instead of a new window. I want the links in posts for instance to open in a tab not a new window. Crazybrowser and Opera make new tabs but Mozilla doesn't
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 22, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 22, 2002 well, i don't think the "windowsopened by the web page" option works, or doesn't the way I think it does... I just check the middle click option and click my mouse wheel on things. Works well for opening threads in the forum.
yashiro
Check the mouse options in the edit preferences dialog. Also check the advanced scripts & windows dialog too. You can then just use your middle mouse button to open links in a new tab. To open a new tab yourself press 'CTRL+T'. You can't open bookmarks in new tabs though(a la Opera) :( You must open each tab individually then click/drag the bookmark.
BroChaos Veteran Posted April 23, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 23, 2002 if you prefer IE + tabs, make sure you check out netcaptor and crazy browser. both very sweet for tabs.
