simonjhall
I get free WAP with my mobile phone, and since mobile phones connect (whilst using WAP) using PPP, I tried connecting my Nokia 6210 with Nokia Data Suite 4 to my PC. If I make a dial-up connection to the number which i have been given, it dials, connects, logs on etc; but it seems only to be able to send TCP packets. If i try and ping the WAP gateway it says 'network unreachable'. But if i just connect anyway to the WAP gateway on port 80, it works fine as a proxy. So i get free net (at a crippling speed). My problem is that it can ONLY send TCP packets. ICMP doesn't work, and neither does UDP. So DNS won't work (UDP), i can't ping anybody. No traceroute, no downloads via MSN messenger and the like. So any solutions? Would a VPN or some kind of tunnel via TCP/IP work? Thanks, Simon Hall
AgEnTsMiTh
Well I know where this is going before it even starts. How long before this thread is closed?
Keldyn
Yes. I agree. This hardly seems legal, if my understanding of your post is accurate. [Thread Locked]
